Seven years of service as a therapy dog was cause for celebration for Rufus and all of his friends. Resident's made him toys as gifts and rememberances. It was a very special day for everyone.
Not willing to leave an empty place at the nursing home, Rufus' paws have been eagerly filled by Barney, seen here with Rufus' old friend Mervin, age 98. Mervin is a former collie man who is quite knowledgeable about dogs! Barney is only 10 months old but is so loving and well behaved, the nursing home allowed him in before he earns his TDI.
