The companion newf committee continues to share life experience with our newfs as well as educate
and enlighten members on encouraging the natural talents of the breed.
The success of our committee's mission to NCA lies solely on the contributions of our readers. If you have a
story to share we are waiting to hear from you and your companion newf. Please don't hesitate to send us your newf tale.
You can contact any of our committee members; Carolyn Kuhn, Wendy Calkins, Chris Rakyta, with your story.

2010 Companion Newf Committee Annual Report by Barbara Frey, Chair

In the past year, the Companion Newf Committee submitted a column for each Newf Tide issue. Our columns continue to spotlight our Newfy friends and the joy of owning a Newfoundland. Companion Newfs never cease to suprise us with their little known talents.
Many thanks to all the members who have shared their good times with all of us, as well as to Diane Lynch and Beth Underwood for their service on our committee over the past few years.
We continue to solicit your stories. Don’t be shy; sometimes it takes a village to create a column. Lots of wonderful short stories are a great way to share many tales in one issue.
Our committee members include Wendy Calkins, Carolyn
Kuhn, and Chris Rakyta.
